what i love right now: this cobalt blue chair

earlier this week i stopped by my upholster's to check up

on some pieces he's doing for my project 

(if anyone in the nyc area is needing an upholster let me know, he's great!)

when i walked in my heart stopped...

the monochromatic cobalt blue chair was coming together fabulously!!! 

 i am soooo loving this chair and want one for myself!

i can't wait to see it all finished! i thought i'd share this little 

colorful blue gem with you all.

does anyone else have a cobalt blue obsession?

it's one of those colors i am head over heels for!

wanting wednesday + laundormat lovin'

...electrolux washer and dryer!

just writing that makes me feel lame, but how fabulous are those kelly green washer and dryer?

having your own washer and dryer is such a luxury i took for granted until 

i moved into my building last september. yes, i have laundry in my basement but it's still not the same.

it's still a major pain. 

so this wednesday (and everyday actually) i'm really wanting my very own washer and dryer! i would looove to own the kelly green ones shown above!

even though the thought of going to a laundromat sucks, i must admit there is something about super appealing about them!

so i've put together some of my favorite laundromat interior shots...

adore color: minty mint

happy huesday color lovers!

i asked my hubby the other day what my huesday color should be

he replied "do shi**y green"

i told him i'd do a a fresher version

behind the scenes VIDEO of the doug & gene meyer spring 2012 campaign

last saturday my bosses and did a photo shoot for their new spring 2012 product!

i seriously had a blast the entire day...i think photo shoot styling is one of my new favorite things to do.

i love the quick pace vibe and seeing beautiful incredible shots!!!
 (i'll be doing a post on the photos next week!!)

during our shoot which went from 9:30 am - 6pm i decided to turn on our webcam and film the entire day! so when it was back to work the next week i quickly compiled hours and hours worth of clips and put together this short 1:45 video giving you a behind the scenes look!

this shoot was extra fun because my (sexy) hubby was one of our models....mmmm hmm!

maybe that's why the day was so fun?? (he's the one with the balloons...)

doug and gene are amazing to work with...i think this video represents our fun work environment!

what i love right now: a white bedroom

one of my favorite things in the world is white fluffy comfy bedding!

not only do i love crisp clean bedding...but i'm also loving white bedrooms! there is something so calming and serine about a clean white bedroom, i wish i actually had a bedroom to give it an all white makeover! (i live in a studio...)

 i need to have one soon before i have little kiddos,

i don't think an all white bedroom will last with little nuggets.

i can't get over that soft furry bedspread...and the floors with that light fixture
