made my heart melt: daycation to nantucket (video)

my heart is still melting from our saturday daycation in nantucket.

when i was younger a good friend of mine had a sweatshirt that said "nantucket"

i remember asking her what that meant and she described the place to me.

ever since then i wanted to visit! it sounded like an east coast dream...

so saturday morning we jumped on a flight from nyc to nantucket. 

we walked from the (adorable) airport into town, about a mile walk. i loved it because we

got to see the area and feel the local nantucket vibe. we walked all over that cute little island, enjoyed lunch and spent some time at the beach. we were there for 5 hours and made the trip back home to the city.

it was wonderful to go visit nantucket, even if it was just for the afternoon.

we've been on a loot of trips and never make movies of our adventures...so this time we decided we'd make one! so go ahead and watch our video "daycation to nantucket" for a quick glimpse of our relaxing/joyous/beautiful afternoon...

we are truly blessed we can travel like we do!!

made my heart melt monday: july 16

can you forgive me for being a slacker this past week?
i'm home in utah and when i'm here visiting my family i go into my try to avoid the computer
and play mode...you can understand that right?
so far i'm loving this trip home! i've been outdoorsy and i've caught up with the people in my life who i love and adore!!

made my heart melt: loving the concrete jungle (video)

my baby sister has been staying in new york with me this month.

sadly, this is her last week here. we spent yesterday afternoon walking around chelsea and filmed 

a bit. we both love the concrete jungle so we made a little video

showing how this city makes my (our) heart melt.

made my heart met monday: where children sleep

i feel like i am surrounded by babies!

i'm not complaining in anyway!! (keep them coming my way)

for you see...i love children! it may be because i am the oldest of four or it could be because i am an older cousin of like 60+ the main reason i think i love kids so much is because i am still very much a kid at heart. 

i have an obsession with adorable kid's bedroom, i have a board on interest titled "where children sleep" and today i wanted to share six bedrooms that are making my heart melt this monday!

there are so many cute factors in this room...

first off the little mister sitting on that mini chair is darling.

 the biggest heart melter is the wallpaper!! i think wallpaper is completely wonderful for a baby nursery especially if it's a pattern that can work well for both boy and girl like this one above.

the bed and bedding above is so dreamy for a child,

looks like the bed is facing backwards and my guess is it for safer reasons??
